In front of you is, for the first time in words and picture the village of Ðulovac, a place whose written history is known since 1852 when the first families of Hanih, Sipl, Schafauser, Zwanziger, Backsteter, Fric and Claus settled here. Although it gets the official settlement status in 1863, the archaeological findings trace back its existence to the late 6th and the early 7th century, testaments of which are the medieval localities such as Stari Grad Stupčanica, settled in the vicinity of Ðulovac.
In the area where Papuk ends and the slopes of Bilogora continue, in the saddle of herreine masses, on 270 m above the sea level the village, whose name changed from the original name of Gjulaves to Miokovićevo and finally Ðulovac, is situated.
This is a place of spirit where we find human faith and the hope for a better tomorrow. Our mutual journey through this booklet will be marked by exploration and discovery of the potentials of this area.
The municipality of Ðulovac is open for all those who want to invest, work, or just visit finding the peace of mind in sumptuous nature - forest.
